What is Sportsbox Universal Swing Score?

Swing Score takes multiple measurements of a golfer's swing mechanics and combines them into a single score. This comprehensive analysis gives insights into the strengths and opportunities of the golfer's swing.

The Swing Score is located in the Sportsbox 3DGolf app and is available currently in the FREE/3D PLAYER plans. It will shortly be available to the 3D Pro plan. 

How it works:

Pick a club — either an iron or a driver. Take (at least) 3 Swings. Generate your Swing Score.

Your Overall Swing Score is the average of three key metrics:
💨 Speed Score
🔋 Efficiency Score
⚖️ Consistency Score 

Each score is a percentile rank based on players of your gender in our extensive database—so you’ll know exactly where you stand. For example, a Speed Score of 86 means you're faster than 86% of players in your group. After receiving your score, you can also: 

• Get your personalized Swing Type (a two-letter code that describes your primary movement pattern and main speed source)

• Dive into the data points that make up each score

• And—based on your full swing data—we’ll recommend a swing fault to tackle next

Want to turn that insight into action?
You’ll have the option to assign that swing fault as a training goal in the app. (Totally optional, but super helpful.)
