This article describes the difference between a "FREE" (demo) account and a "FREE TRIAL," which is currently only available for 3D PRO, our Coach/more advanced product.
Sportsbox 3DGolf offers both a free account and a free trial (3D Pro only) to its users, but they are different in terms of what they offer and how long they last.
A free account with Sportsbox 3DGolf is a basic, limited-access account that is free to use indefinitely.
A free trial with Sportsbox 3D PRO unlocks all of our features, but this privilege would only last for 2 weeks.
FREE ACCOUNT FOR COACHES
With a free account for coaches, users can sample the app's features with our Sample Session and created 5 3d sessions (per month), where they can do the following:
- Analyze pre-loaded swings in our Sample Session
- Create 5 3d sessions for free account holder
- View swings from 6 different angles (Face-On, DTL, Above, Below, Behind, From Target)
- Add limited trackers -- Pelvis Turn, Chest Turn, Pelvis Sway, Chest Sway, Pelvis Lift, Chest Lift -- to the swings in the Session and view the measurements and how they compare to Tour player ranges
Free accounts can create their own swing but will have severe limitations in regards to accessibility. Please sign-up for our free 14-day trial to try out the app's full functionality.
FREE ACCOUNT FOR STUDENTS/PLAYERS
With a free account for Students or Players, users can do the following:
- Everything listed above that coaches with free accounts can do
Students who are connected to a coach in the app (their coach is a Sportsbox subscriber and has invited you as their student in the app and you have accepted the invite on the Home Page) can also:
- Communicate and receive messages and lesson notes via the Inbox from their Coach
- View sessions that their coaches have created for them
- Practice assigned Goals by coach (these swings will count towards the 5 swing per month count)

WHAT IS A FREE TRIAL FOR COACHES?
A free trial is a time-limited offer that allows users to try out the full functionality of Sportsbox 3DGolf for 14 days. During the trial period, users can access all the premium features of the app, and experience the full range of benefits that come with a paid subscription. The idea behind the free trial is to allow users to experience the app's full potential and decide if it's worth investing in a paid subscription.
