Jeeno Thitikul: Creating Lag

If you’re one of the many golfers working on your lag, here’s what you should actually work on first:

Your sequencing.

Great lag isn’t something you simply create by holding your wrist angle. It’s a result of sequencing the transition and downswing properly:

Pelvis → Chest → Arms → Club

When the body leads and the club follows, the wrist angle can naturally be maintained and released at the right time.

And you can easily check your own sequence with Sportsbox.

Open your Transition Sequence indicator to see if your pelvis, chest, arms, and club are moving in the right order.
