What is Hand Thrust?
Hand Thrust evaluates hand depth and identifies movement patterns that influence transition.
Definition: The forward/backward movement of your hands. It is set to 0 at address. It is negative when your hands are moved backward, away from the ball and positive when there's more movement towards the ball, with respect to their position at address

How to Apply Hand Thrust
📍 At P2 — Check Hand Movement
A common issue is positive Hand Thrust, where the hands move toward the ball while Club Thrust becomes increasingly negative, moving the club in and behind the golfer.
📍 At the Top — Check Hand Depth
A common pattern is for the hands to be not deep or negative enough, which can contribute to a steeper transition into the downswing.
📍 Compare Across Swings
Track Hand Thrust across swings to identify consistent patterns in hand depth and movement, giving you a measurable way to understand how the hands are influencing the transition.
