# Creating Speed with Min Woo Lee: Creating Rotational Force

**Min Woo Lee doesn't create speed by making a huge shift. He creates it through rotation.**

His pelvis stays remarkably centered throughout the swing, and the numbers make it clear why that's important.

At the top:

- **34° of pelvis turn**
- Just **0.1" of pelvis lift**
- Just **0.4" of pelvis sway** toward the trail side

He barely moves off center.

Then the downswing starts—and the rotation takes over.

When the club reaches horizontal, Min Woo's pelvis is already **35° open**, compared to roughly **17–29° for the tour average**.

By impact, he's **52° open**.

That's a huge amount of rotation, and it's the primary way Min Woo generates speed through his lower body and transfers that energy into the club.

**Centered pivot. Massive rotation. Elite speed.**

Min Woo is a great example of how you don't need a huge lateral move or vertical lift to create speed. Sometimes, it's about learning to turn more efficiently.
