What is a Pelvis Lift?

Pelvis Lift explains vertical movement of the pelvis and how that it contributes to vertical force into impact.

Definition:  Vertical movement of your pelvis. It is set to 0 at address. It is negative when your pelvis is dipping below where it was at address (drop) and positive when it is moving higher than where it was at address (lift).  

How to Apply Pelvis Lift

 📍 At the Top — Check Pelvis Lift
The best players in the world typically stay level to slightly lower compared to their address position.

📍 Into Transition — Monitor the Drop
Pelvis Lift will typically move downward into P5.

📍 Into Impact — Monitor Vertical Force
Pelvis Lift into impact provides a direct indication of vertical force. Use this movement to understand how the player is using the ground and generating vertical movement through impact.
